We are Splitting Up (temporarily)

After nearly six years it’s finally time for Shannon to take off with Rigby on a solo adventure of her own.

That’s her driving away yesterday. She will be heading to eastern Washington to begin with, to visit family and then make her way south to meet up with some friends in the desert. But I’ll let her tell you all about that as we will both be sharing our experiences here.

Here are all of my belongings for the next three weeks. My brother will be picking me up in a couple days and we too will be heading south, looking to meet up with an old family friend. And by “Old” I just mean he’s been a family friend for a long time.

Although he is pretty old too... 🤔

Shannon will be living in luxury, having the van and coffee maker and a queen size bed all to herself, and I’ll be roughing it in a sleeping bag.

But my brother says he’s bringing a cot for me to put my sleeping pad on so at least I won’t be on the ground.
